Professional Editing in Final Cut Studio In this introduction to the primary features and interface of Final Cut Pro, learn to perform basic editing functions while familiarizing yourself with the user interface. Topics include basic setup, adjusting and customizing preferences and settings, capturing video and audio, various editing and trimming techniques, the use of editing tools, audio editing and audio creation, finishing and final output. LIMITED TO 12 STUDENTS Who Should Attend? This class is designed for anyone interested in a thorough introduction to editing professional quality video using Final Cut Pro and is designed for those who prefer hands-on and interactive instruction to best explore the full functionality of Final Cut Pro. Certification: This course covers all the requirements necessary to successfully become an Apple Certified Pro, Level 1 in Final Cut Pro. Level 1 certification attests to basic operational knowledge of the application. Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of the Macintosh OS and ability to easily navigate the Mac environment. Steve Szabo has worked in the film and video industry since 1990 as an editor, colorist, visual effects designer and more recently as a DVD/HD DVD author. His work experience includes several television series, scores of television commercials, and a variety of other programs for many major clients. He is an Apple Certified Trainer in Final Cut Pro 7, Motion 4, DVD Studio Pro , Soundtrack Pro 3, and Final Cut Studio. He has received a number of awards for editing, effects, and DVD authoring. Szabo is the owner of Digital Edge Hawai‘i in Honolulu. |
