Now accepting fall volunteers. RSVP for the orientation day on Sunday September 21, 2014 (10 a.m.) or Saturday September 27, 2014 (1:00 p.m.) Always wanted to volunteer with the fish and learn more about the marine ecosystem? Senior project, community service, building your resume, or just helping out for the fun of it? Whatever your reasons may be, by volunteering with the Living Art Marine Center you will help support our Marine Science Education Programs, learn about ocean animals, and have a lot of fun. How do I get started? RSVP for the one of the volunteer orientation days. http://www.livingartmarinecenter.com/volunteer.htm Volunteers: - assist the tour guides - help with arts and crafts (i.e. Gyotaku fish print and shell carving) - interpret animals at our tide pool animal touch area - assist during our guided reef walks - have a lot of fun and learn about marine life |
