It’s the best of both worlds as we put the ART back in pARTy on First Friday! NextDoor, one of the first neo-Chinatown venues, is teaming up with Honolulu’s premiere cabaret revue, Cherry Blossom Cabaret, for the first of many monthly First Friday events. Next month on First Friday, October 3rd, get your drink and draw on at the SCARY MARY’s First Friday Drink & Draw! We aim to bring the ART back to pARTy!!! DETAILS: Where: NextDoor, 43 N. Hotel Street, Honolulu, HI 96817 When: Friday, October 3, 2014; Doors open at 6pm, Drawing from 7pm-10pm Admission: Free before 10pm, ages 21+. Art supplies available by donation. Artists and First Friday revelers are invited to bring their own art supplies to draw the lovely and limber ladies of Cherry Blossom Cabaret as they model their sexiest spooky couture as live art models. Hosted by Ella Flaunt and sponsored by Michy Moody Productions, DJ Jet Boy will provide a bevvy of background tunes to inspire creative and artistic energy. For those who feel artistically uninclined, resident artist Michy Moody invites attendees to pose as her portrait model or will give a lesson in live figure drawing for a small donation. Are you a starving artist? Just show up! It’s FREE and there are beautiful, interesting and freaky models. If you’re too broke to drink we will post one of your best drawings up on the wall for sale! Make and sell your artwork ON THE SPOT! Our only request in exchange is that you spend your cash at the bar and/or tip your models! Got nothing to draw with? Don’t fret! There will be some art supplies will available for a small donation provided by the lovely Miss Ella Flaunt!
