| SME Salespersons of the Year | ||||||

Sales and Marketing Executives of Honolulu is a professional organization involved in sales and marketing at the managerial level. Members represent companies in advertising, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, travel, media, retail, and real estate. In 1957, they began “The Salesperson of the Year” award, to recognize a member of the community who greatly enhances the image and quality of life in Hawaii. For the first time, they will be recognizing two SPOY recipients. The SPOY recipients for the years 2019 and 2021 are President and CEO of the Hawai’i Lodging & Tourism Association, Mufi Hannemann, and founder of Tihati Productions, Charlene “Cha” Thompson, respectively. This is the 65th year that SME Honolulu has awarded this honor, and this time, for two honorees and two separate years. |
